More bad news, this time from Sweden. For the first time in forty-five years, Swedish wolves are being hunted. Hunters killed 20 wolves out of the 27 wolf quota, on the first day of the hunt. How incredibly sad. To my fellow wolf supporters in Sweden, my heart goes out to you.
Sweden’s wolves number a little over 200 animals. Yet this tiny wolf population is being hunted. 20 wolves are gone. For what?

Takes a real mans man to kill such a beautiful creature. Not only do the have to kill this beautiful female. The kill is not complete unless they flaunt and disrespect the wolf with a photo op. Disturbing… truely disturbing!
Marc I was so saddened to see that picture but I wanted to post it so people could see the nasty side of wolf hunts. She was such a beautiful wolf and some yahoo felt they needed to kill her and then film it. The incredible thiing this happened in Sweden.

Just as the American Indian was removed from their territory by ppl that did not know, or try to know them, worldwide wolves( Among other animals) are being pushed from their homes. They, like humans are God’s creatures and should be treated as such.
Unfortunately Sissy we don’t make the rules right now. Wolves are in the hands of fish and game agencies who have no interest in understanding them or protecting them. They see them as a nuisance to be gotten rid of. That has to change and it will. More and more people are picking up the banner to help wolves.
