Were any pups like these left to starve after five wolves were aerial gunned in the Lolo?
It looks like the Idaho Wildlife Services wolf killers took some heat for aerial gunning innocent wolves during pupping season…so they’ve halted it but make no mistake they’re still going to go after the Lolo wolves.
People were outraged by the aerial gunning but most don’t realize Wildlife Services (what a misnomer) aerial gunning of wolves is part of their repertoire, it doesn’t just happen in Alaska. as you can see death reigns down from the skies in the Northern Rockies too.
As one of the many examples they went into Stanley, Idaho, Thanksgiving week, 2009 and gunned the remainder of the Basin Butte pack.
From the Missoulian:
This is their new brilliant wolf killing plan:
Idaho Spring Bear Hunt Information
They’re basically just changing tactics. Don’t be fooled they are still going after those wolves.
