Warriors there will be two vigils organized by Mato W0ksape to protest the continued slaughter of wolves in Idaho. They will be held at Eastside Park, Ontario, Oregon on March 8th and March 12th.

If you are unable to attend because of distance you can hold your own vigil where ever you are. Please take a photo of your vigil and upload them to:

The third event, 3/25/12, is hosted by Mato and me. We will start at 4-6 at Fish and Game main headquarters; 600 S Walnut. I will be passing out pamphlets, showing the research I did about the LoLo wolves and how they are not the main factor to elk decrease, it has been documented as disease and starvation. The Fish and Wildlife do not include disease in their 4 elements for elk decrease.
The second event is at Fish and Game; 3101 SE Powerline Rd, 6:30-7:30, for standing on the road for drive by people. Mato can comfirm. Thanks,

You can post your vigil there. It’s pretty simple. Contact a few friends that would be willing to participate. Or if you want to go bigger you could put up signs to advertise. It’s very easy to make signs. All you need is a sharpie, a stick and some cardboard. You can copy some of the slogans we’ve used. A simple one is; IDAHO: Stop Killing Wolves!!! 321 DEAD. You can hold a vigil in front of your house or at any public spot. I don’t think you need a permit to hold a candlelight vigil. A park is always a good place, it’s familiar to other people.
I will promote it for you on Howling for Justice if you’d like. There is more information on how to organize a non-violent protest and make signs on Howl Across America in the notes section. If you need anymore help please let me know!! Also take pictures and also contact the media, say a local newspaper. Let them know you ave holding a vigil to protest the slaughter of wolves in Idaho and the “Live Bait Wolf Kill Bill”, the slaughter of the 14 wolves in the Lolo, the poaching of OR7′s brother, OR9, his killer got a slap on the wrist and he had an expired wolf tag. I could go on and on. Also 166 Montana wolves killed in the hunt.
