Second Montana Wolf Killed Near Yellowstone

 September 20, 2009

The killing continues.  It gets sadder every day.  A second wolf was killed in Montana north of Yellowstone by an out-of-state hunter from Georgia.

The wolves have cover now because we’re having an unusually warm September but once the cold weather arrives and leaves fall,  wolves will be more visible to hunters.  These are very intelligent animals, I hope they find a way to hide from the guns.   beautiful wolf

A hunter from Georgia took a wolf today just north Yellowstone Park, the same area where a Montanan killed a wolf on Tuesday.

The back-country season began on Tuesday in wilderness locations. The general season, which covers the entire state, begins on October 25th.

    • I love New Zealand, so beautiful.

Aren’t wolves incredible and can you believe they are slaughtering them for livestock and hunting them like they’re pests? It’s a tragedy of major proportions.

Thanks for reading and caring about wolves.

For the wolves, For the wild ones,
