    • Thanks Barb, welcome to our pack! You’re right wolves are awesome and horribly persecuted. We give them a voice here. Now we have to reach the rest of the country.

    • Sorry it took me so long to get back to you Forever Wild…I think Jerry Black answered your question. The Roxy is in Missoula, Montana. I corrected the notice of the event and included the city.

  4. It’s sad that some govement official or even environmentalist who thiks they know what their doing can just walk right in and give some rancher the right away to start killing. I mean when the ecosystem colapses it ultimatly back fires on disgusting thrivers of the decling wolf population. Also why is the goverment and wildlife preserves still contemplating banning poaching. This is just another little nonsense thing that curupts America.

    • I…It’s the “good ole boys” club in action. They could care less, unless it effects them. We need a complete overhaul of the fish and game system and retire all the grazing leases.

  8. I’d like to go but alas I lack the funds.

Lobo is available here on DVD but after seeing the previews, I’d rather not watch it – docos like that just make me angry.

I read the story of an old wolf, I think he was called ‘Rags’…actually more accurately its the story of person who killed him… from “Wolf: Spirit of the Wild : A Celebration of Wolves in Word and Image”.

That smug hunter was so up himself, the unbelievable cruelty he inflicted on the poor old creature and what really really got to me was the man [if he can be called that] had the gall to call the wolf a murdering devil before he died [supposedly] at the hunter’s feet.

    • I hear you John. I’ve already watched Lobo..sad story but Seton did change his ways unfortunately too late for Lobo and Blanca. So much death and killing, what a legacy.

  12. Nabeki- The video showing everyone’s favorite redneck hillbilly canned hunter Troy Gentry’s “bear Hunt” where he killed a tame bear named Cubby was released after the animal rights group SHARK (Showing animals respect and kindness) sued to have the video released. The story is as outrageous as it gets. This guy Steve Hindl from Shark is the guy that flies around in this motorized contraption and has a video truck that he drives around in as he confronts animal cruelty! He is great!

    • Steve and his organization shark go great things.

You have nuts threatening them because what they are trying to do.

      • Of course Jon, they don’t want the public to see the abuse that occurs at rodeos. It’s the same for animal abuse everywhere, it breeds in darkness.

Great for Shark…I’m going to put them on my blog roll. Everyone of us that detests the abuse of wolves and all animals need to be more pro-active and start speaking out publically, like Shark is doing. I think people would be shocked to know what is being done to animals. Most people have no idea.

Thanks for the link Jon. Poor, poor Cubby. That is so tragic, like poor Romeo. I can’t stand “trophy killers”/hunters.
