Deja vu. Rep.Rehburg (R-Mt) recently introduced two wolf delisting bills. You thought those bills died with the 111th Congress? Think again. This is the 112th Congress and he’s after wolves again in Montana, Idaho and the rest of the country. There are two versions. One delists all gray wolves from the ESA and the other delists wolves in Montana and Idaho.
Better get your dialing fingers ready and your puter keyboards warmed up because wolf persecution is a full-time job with these people. They want to get their hands on wolves so they can manage/shoot/kill, them to please their elk hunting and ranching buddies.
They’re gearing up for their lost wolf hunting season and can’t waste another minute to strip gray wolves from the ESA.
Are we going to allow this to happen or are we going to raise our voices and let Congress know the majority of Americans support wolves? Are we going to allow special interests to dictate policy based on political whim?
Get ready Wolf Warriors. It’s time to stand for gray wolves, one more time.
Please let these Representatives know how you feel about delisting wolves from the ESA.

Jon,Thank you posting that article. One big game farm that is what the states and hunters desire.Hunters don’t seem to like it when they might be restricted on how many tags for a deer, elk,or any other animal.Hunters keep saying they are concerned about wild life but they may be fooling some but not othes. They want to preserve the wilderness but only on their terms. The timing of the whole situation with the wolf, is bad.People are trying to keep a float or trying to make ends meet. They are to busy being concerned about their own lives then about what is going on with this situation.State government wants to please their base in order to keep their jobs. One has to keep on fighting for what is right, regardless.I know at one point or another everyone gets hit with assults if you don’t go with the flow and go against it.Win or lose, the tide needs to flow the other way,if not,try again. until it does. The those coyotes derbies never solve the problem in the eyes of the hunter, their numbers keep going. I can’t remember the Native Indian say exactly, but it rather goes on like this, that the coyote was here in the beginning and it will be here in the end.Hunters who shot and kill thinking they are saving another species from another, fools no one. Their self worth and ego are plainly seen by the rest of us.

Sorry,I meant to say”that the coyote derbies do not solve the problem of their population in the eyes of non hunters”.I should proof read better.

Hi Rita, that is nonsense. It really is. There are two types of people when it comes to caring about wildlife. It is those like us who want to see animals keep their lives and than you have those other people who caim they care about wildlife when infact all they want to do is kill it. It shows who the real wildlife lovers and conservationists are. How can anyone claim they care and respect wildlife when they are out there killing it for no good reason? Hunting for survival is one thing, but trapping animals for their fur and shooting predators for sport is a disgrace.

And on top of hunters, hunters are greedy and selfish people. They kill animals like coyotes, wolves, couhars, etc so that there are more animals like deer and elk to kill for themselves. Cougars, wolves, coyotes, etc actually rely on the animals they kill for survival. I really can’t say the same for hunters. Most of them anyways.

Jon,In their, demented way, hunters say it is their right and their way of life to shot and kill anything. They keep spreading their hate and misconceptons. .You have these extreme survivalists who tend to govern themselves.

John…trapping is one of the cruelest of all tortures that animals suffer. It sickens me. I wonder if trappers come back as the trapped?
