      Me too Agnes. He was such a beautiful little guy. I remember thinking that collar might get him in trouble. Not very long after that he was dead. Such a terrible shame. I hope they catch his killer/killers.

    I lived in Michigan in the 90’s. There was a breeder who was breeding “pure-bred” wolves…so she said. I was a reporter for an Ann Arbor newspaper. The breeder told me that she was not breeding the wolves as “pets”…as they never adapt to being domesticated. I cannot remember WHY she was breeding. To re-invigorate the species, I guess. What “harm” do wild wolves do? Are the hunters hunting them protecting property? Can wolves run wild in Nat’l Parks and open space?
