This hard-hitting DOW video demonstrated the brutality of Sarah Palin’s Alaska wolf policies, when she was governor. What people don’t know is wolves are aerial gunned in the Northern Rockies by Wildlife Services every year. The same suffering that befalls Alaska wolves is repeated in the Northern Rockies.
I wonder if Senators know legislation was proposed recently in Idaho that would place a $500 bounty on wolves’ heads.?

THERE IS NO WOLF CRISIS IN THE NORTHERN ROCKIES!
The wolf delisting rider is all about pandering to the ranching and hunting lobbies for votes. Wolves are very popular with the American people. It’s a small, well-funded minority that wants them gone. And I do mean gone.
Before wolves were relisted, in August 2010, Montana planned to raise their wolf hunt quota from 75 to 186 and add a wolf archery and back country rifle season. Idaho wanted to add baiting, calling and trapping to their brutal bag of tricks.
Idaho extended their 2009 wolf hunt to March 31, 2010, right through wolf breeding and denning season. The hunt was originally planned to end on December 31, 2009 but Idaho commissioners voted to keep it going until the end of March, A SEVEN MONTH LONG HUNT. Does this sound fair and reasonable to you? What fate do you think is waiting for wolves if they are delisted with no judicial review?
Wolves are social animals, in fact they are included with humans and African lions as three of the most social species on earth.
If you pass the budget wolf delisting rider, not only will wolves be killed in the hundreds, splitting families apart, leaving pups to starve or worse but much of the killing will be done with malice! The haters don’t just want to kill wolves, they want them to suffer!

I would also like to point out that Tester and Simpson’s rider is unconstitutional as it violates the rights of Americans to challenge it in the courts which is the act of a dictatorship and not a democracy. In other words, what Tester, Simpson, and the other lawmakers who are refusing to take the rider out of the spending bill are doing is a criminal act. The rider itself is illegal according to federal law because it takes away our constitutional right to contest it.
We need to stop this rider and save the wolves, The E.S.A, and our rights as Americans to challenge unjust laws.

Justin, the only way a coward can win is by cheating. They would most likely sell their own mother if it would bring them gain.
The wolf does not hunt for trophy, profit or gain. His methods of killing are seen as barbaric and inhumane, and he he is viewed as a creature of insatiable evil intent. The wolf is also not fortunate enough to eat out of prepacked containers like our family pets.
I am not against hunting, although I would never hunt. Hunting solely for the purpose of food,and using everything with respect for the animal is how is was for eons, before we had domesticated cattle and people to slaughter our prey for us. How convenient that we are now spared the egregious practice which others provide.
But sport “hunting”,just for the sheer pleasure of ego is an desperate attempt to fill a void that will never be satisfied. The darker side of human nature is a compelling force without conscience or reason.
True hunters would not be threatened by the wolf’s presence, and real men would value his wisdom.
It is man that is the true beast. For all of our human intelligence and potential for good, it is our cavalier indifference and casual malice that belies a deeper issue.

I just love all these people who say their hunting is being reduced due to the wolves killing all the deer and elk. Well let me first say, we don’t have any wolves in Washington, even though people want them restored to the Olympic Mountains located on the Olympic Peninsula. Idaho and Montana don’t want them, great, relocate them to the places that do want them. Around here what you find is a lot of deer and elk left dead off of back roads. This is joy killing and certainly has no wolf involvement. And of course there are the poachers, who leave what they can’t or don’t want to take with them. Human beings are the largest and worst of offenders of wildlife death, not wolves. Domestic dogs have a higher % of livestock killings than the wolf, so why all this anti-wolf sentiment? I’d have to guess it’s like any hate group, just a focus for their anger and hatred. Remember, ignorance breeds fear, and there seems to be a lot that going around. Why bother looking into the facts when you can read or hear something, and by god that’s the truth. Education seems to be going backward in this country, not forward. Also you cannot partially delist any species Under the ESA, so I don’t understand why this should even be an issue, but nonetheless it is. People also seem to have forgotten that they are the governments employer, and as such should be demanding an accounting on all these laws they’re trying to pass, and public funds being spent without the voters knowledge or consent. They’re so concerned about the deficit, yet they continue wasteful spending, and pay increases for themselves. The cuts to the ESA and numerous other vital programs wouldn’t be an issue if it weren’t for this, and making deals with special interest groups. I know of no other jobs where employees can give themselves pay raises, or spend their employers money with no accounting for it. Just 4 universities alone in 2010 were given upwards of a billion dollars for animal testing, when they had the most sophisticated and updated technologies available that made this outdated and barbaric.

Sorry everyone if I’m so quiet tonight but there isn’t much else to say. They may have the votes and they may not. It all depends on the Senate because they need sixty votes to pass. Please say a prayer for wolves tonight and KEEP CALLING TOMORROW. They will debating and voting in the House first. then the Senate. It’s going to be a very long and nerve wracking day for all of us tomorrow.

The budget deal struck by President Obama and Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) to avert a government shutdown appears to have the votes to clear the House and Senate.
Votes are expected in both chambers on Thursday.
While there will be defections on the right and left, Capitol Hill sources believe the funding bill for the remainder of fiscal 2011 will clear both chambers. The Senate vote, however, is expected to be more of a cliffhanger than the House vote. Sixty votes are required in the Senate as opposed to a simple majority in the House.

wolf have been around for manny years before me or you they hunt because they need to if we keep building they have to place to go there no differant then the animals i see here in texas eating other animals on the side of the road but when you call for help for these animal you get told it is not there area but then you can not get help at all . so what are thes epoor animal sto do but survive and hunt you would do the same if you were in that same boat you would hunt to survive hell you guys hunt know and for what it is call game but they do it to live and now you want to hunt these beautiful animals down . there spirits to the indians they see threw there eye so please do n ot let this happen

I have never in my life heard of any attack on wildlife as vicious and sick as the one manipulated by Sarah Palin and those who are out there now, slaughtering them. Somehow, despite the contribution the wolf makes to the echosystem, these sickos have got hatred for them stuck in their craw and want to obliterate them. This evil has simply got to be stopped. Wolves have been here for thousands of years and have been doing their part to keep wildlife in balance. Man comes along and, as usual, upsets the scheme of things to suit himself–and the devil can take the hindmost. I hope to heaven that there are some members of the Senate who still maintain a modicum of knowledge of the wolf’s part in the balance of nature, exhibiting compassion and understanding of these maligned creatures, turning the tables in their favor once and for all. Meanwhile, Sarah Palin can go to hell, although even they will probably want nothing to do with her.

I do not understand why hunting is so accepted. I have been around emergency rooms in hospitals, and I know how people fear pain. So why are they so wiling to inflict it just for their own pleasure. I find this one of the most revolting characteristics of the human race.
May the Life Giver help the wolves and all the creatures on this earth that people so eagerly and willingly torment.
