Lil’ Bear and Tala….

A grizzly cub and wolf pup named Lil Bear and Tala are playing their hearts out at the Woodland Zoo gift shop.  So adorable. They are still friends today. Enjoy.

  8. I apologize for being the bearer of bad news but this zoo has been mistreating their elephants Bamboo, Watoto, and Chai and outraged citizens have filed a lawsuit. Please read about it here and sign the petition.

    Contrary to popular opinion, zoos are not animal friendly, they make money from the animals in captivity. No matter how big the enclosure or how many plants they provide, it is still just a prison. Imagine being on display everyday of your life.

    Although very cute, the video shows a behavior that is not normal for these two species. I am glad they are still friends but would be even happier if they were free as they were meant to be irrespective of the perils from humans.
