2013 Year Of The Wolf….

wolf wallpaper 1MSdotNet

Thank god 2012 is gone and 2013 has arrived. This will be the year things turn around for wolves BUT wolf advocates must join together to achieve the goal of seeing wolves relisted and protected from brutal state game agencies.

We will be unveiling our new project soon, that we believe will energize wolf advocates in our battle to save wolves.

First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win……Mahatma Gandhi

  15. We struggle every day and fight for wolves and all endangered species. It is interesting that once the hard work is done–like Ravensong Group, Project Coyote, Union Members for the Preservation of wildlifeand other small grassroots organizations did in getting wolves headed toward protected endangered status in California, other groups who scoffed at us jump on the bandwagon with”coalitions.” This must be a unified grassroots effort. The American people are appalled at this killing. We will always stand for the wolf.

  20. I was worried about where you were – though you might have given up – it is a daunting task(not just the Wolves, but most animals that the llivestock/ranching industry do not like!) What is particularly scary is finding out Joe Biden was instrumlental in getting the 2011 budget bill passed – you know, the ONE w/ the infamous Wolf amendment, also just read an article on-line about an interview that Tom Brokaw said many things about living in Montana, but the one I was concerned about was that he had supported the reintrodu ction of the Wolves, but “they” had multiplied more than originally thought AND a management program is in order, ALSO, someone shot a Wolf which disbursed the pack! AND the Elk than came back – as it should be??????????? This is not an exact quote from the article because I do not have it in front of me BUT the general tone and words are accurate. He also added that “they” used to have Bison on the ranch but the state of Mt. was requiring them to be vacinated and that presented a problem so now they lease the area to a cattle rancher. Since Elk along w/ Bison “could” carry Brucellosis (although who would you believe?) how come Elk are not shot on sight if they wander out of Yellowstone?? And, one more little story (allthough not Wolf related) the good old “trained wardens” of the Calif. DFG shot and killed two Mountain Lion Cubs that were acting strangely under a porch – the “trained wardens” said the cubs were ten months old and weighed 30 lbs. each – turned out the two terrified cubs were four months old and weighed 13 & 14lb. WITH EMPTY STOMACHS! So, Montana, et al is not the only state w/ STUPID people in charge of the animals. How in the hell do you mistake 13lbs. for 30????????????? The “trained” wardens were probably hired by the Mt. Lion killer from the dfg that went to Idaho (where it is legal) to tree and shoot a Lion. These people should be tree’d and shot!

    • There has never been a documented case of wildlife–elk or deer passin brucellosis to livestock. These ranchers and farmers are liars and cheats–always their hands out for more state and federal subsidies. Theirb time ended at the end of the 19th century…Get them off public lands. Make them assume responsibility for their own animals.

  21. Happy New Year Nabeki!

Thank you for all that you do for the Wolves! I am looking forward to enacting the action plan! (How disheartening and sickening about the murder of two little starving mountain lion cubs in CA….unfortunately sadistic psychopaths are usually the ones in charge…..)

That is disturbing about Biden and Brokaw…..but ultimately all those in charge have been corrupted by special monied interests…..by the Devil…..money/greed and power/control along with fear and sadism/suffering/torture are his trademarks/calling cards….

I have no faith in any government agency…..my faith is in God.

I want to see Wolves (and all animals) protected and safe and free – enjoying life, love and liberty as they were Created to. The sadistic psychopathic perpetrators (government, cattlemen, hunters, trappers) are not included. They have already chosen evil. I am cynical and angry beyond words.

I declare 2013 the Year of Wolves being relisted, safe, and free to roam……the year when all haters turn their venom on themselves – the year when all of God’s Children are Protected and all of the devil’s disciples can only inflict harm on their own.

    So Let it Be!

  25. First loss of 2013, Damn Walker in Wisconsin needed those Dogs on a wolf hunt, so lets turn it around and get them re-listed and get some mining land ripped out from under his feet before he pollutes it any worse with all the Fracking he has set up. This is the real reason the wolves needed to be murdered so feverishly, there was nothing in science or that they were a threat. It was a simple case of the rich wanted the land to pollute with mining and the wolves might be in the way, if they had been still listed as endangered species, can not mine upon land when there is an endangered species taken up a home there… think about it…all across the America’s even Canada. Mother Earth hear our voices and help us save you and our animals..we got the movement

  27. I really hope that 2013 will be a better year for wolves and wildlife in general, though to be honest I’m not very optimistic about this. Already two anti-wolf/pro-hunting actions have been implemented this year: the classification of the wolf as a “game species” in Michigan and the judge’s ruling that allows hunting wolves with dogs in Wisconsin. I’ve also heard that the USFWS is planning on delisting ALL gray wolves (except Mexican Wolves) throughout the entire nation. This will practically destroy the chance of restoring wolves to the Southern Rockies, the Northeast, the Great Plains, and all other areas of their former range that is not yet inhabited, and could set back recovery in the Pacific Northwest. As a conservationist who believes in national gray wolf restoration, I’m very worried about this!

    • Here’s the response to these anti-wolf, anti-Creation moves: we wolf defenders must work harder to hugely expand the circle of wolf friends, cooperate, get much more creative and bold and fight harder and smarter for wolves. Every single wolf.

  28. Sonoran-Loba, I to worry about what is going to happen with wolves, for that fact, ALL wildlife. I can’t stress, I know Nabeki would agree with me …… we have to get it together as a HUGE group. Strength is in numbers. People are beginning to realize what’s going on. It’s been a slow process though.
I recently got sent a petition from Sierra Club. I didn’t sign it because I didn’t agree with what they were petitioning. They want “state management in WY. for wolves, etc. NO – No – NO. They need to be put back on the ESL.
Sorry, I switched subjects, has anyone else gotten that petition??
Nabeki & other folks have come up with a plan, which I am looking forward to hearing & implementing.
