Wolves are the closest relatives of our beloved dogs, separated by just .2% of their DNA, while the difference between wolves and coyotes is 4% . When will the haters open their eyes and see how wolf-like dogs really are? The amazing qualities canis lupus familiaris possesses evolved from their closest ancestor, the wolf: loyalty, playfulness, intelligence, superior sense of smell, endurance and most of all, love of family.
Our world would be a lonely place without our canine companions. If there were no wolves there would be no dogs. Take off your blinders trophy hunters and stop pretending you’re not killing the wild brothers of your canine friends!

Given that dogs come in every shape, size and colour, it is strange to think they are all wolves under the skin.

I think I recognize the beautiful white wolf at the beginning of the video. Her name is Patches, and she is at Wolf People of Cocolalla in Idaho. At least some wolves are safely in sanctuaries!

It is amazing that man does not see readily the obvious relationship of wolves and dogs and the co-evolution of man-wolves-dogs. Dogs and wolves can breed and produce fertile offspring; so, I think that wolves are really even closer than subspecies status. An excellent photographic story of a wolf that played with dogs on a regular basis is “Romeo, The Story of an Alaskan Wolf” by John Hyde.

Roger, Romeo was so special and his story so moving. Again he was killed for nothing by terrible people, his lovely little life snuffed out. Every time I think of him it brings me to tears.

I feel the same about Romeo and Limpy. Romeo is my computer background both at work and at home and I look at him all the time. People who see him are in awe at his beauty and want to know his sad story.

It would take people who are rational to stop and think about the close relationship between wolves and dogs. It would take people who are rational to admit that wolves are innocent products of evolution who are doing what they evolved to do. Hate is not rational. Rage born of hatred is not rational. We should not expect much of the good old boy hunters who are drived by negative emotions. They are just substandard specimens of human evolution.

WE ARE ALL CONNECTED- WE ARE ALL OF THE SAME LIFE FORCE. HURT OR KILL ANY LIVING BREATHING SENTIENT AND YOU ARE HARMING YOURSELF. SOME PEOPLE HAVE MUCH TO LEARN. Wow. That video really hits home. I have a four year old German Shepard and her resemblance to a wolf is uncanny. She is honestly more vicious towards others than wolves are. When people go out killing wolves, they have to learn that they’re killing “man’s best friend.”

Wolves are the largest member of the wild dog family. They are the ancestors of our beloved dogs. The killers know this, they just don’t want to admit they are killing wild dogs. They are beneath contempt.

The “Defenders” claim that the wolf population went down by 7% only in the last year. 1151+ slaughtered wolves and the population goes down by 7% only! Sounds like Fish and Wildlife counts! When I questioned them how they reached this percentage, they promptly deleted my post! I am soooooooooo disappointed by the DOW!
