Wolf puppies need protecting as much as Lab pups!

Even though Bud is pretending to ignore the outrage of wolf and animal lovers over their terrible wolf demonizing ad, I think they got the message. They may be getting lots of props on their FB page for the ad but secretly they know environmentalists, conservationists and animal lovers drink beer too. So lets keep signing the CBD protest petition. It only takes a little pebble to make big ripples in a pond!
Bye bye Bud!

I met Sarah Palin at a Teacher’s Conference in Alaska. She is every bit as bad as you say she is. After meeting her, I NEVER would have voted for her.

Toni…And to think McCain actually picked her to be Vice President. What the heck was he thinking, although I don’t think he was. Scary.

Sarah Palin does not like wolves. She’s been known to kill wolf pups. Not a good person. As for Budweiser, I too signed the petition. Read them the riot act. I do hope that thousands of people sign..many thousands. They need a strong message. Apparently they are what the brain looks like on ‘Suds’.

I called them about the ad and asked them to at least run a disclaimer at the end saying wolves were essential to a healty ecosystem. They freaking couldn’t do that. i posted a pm to them stating how disappointed I was in them.

We signed the petition, but I grew so angry, I chose not to watch the ad. Everywhere I turn, I witness the demonizing of the most vital, necessary species in America’s ecosystems. Fiction writers use wolves to denote evil in modern day fiction, like he’s the “lone wolf”; the big bad wolf, etc. etc. I would have thought we had crawled out of the brainwashing trash flung in the Dark Ages, like the Catholic church taught that wolves were Satan’s dogs, and the first, wacko Christian settlers in America believed wilderness was Satan’s playground and wolves and the Native Americans were Satan’s disciples. {Well, at least, we now hope, I hope, that Native Americans are our own kin.]
Today’s science reveals, wilderness is mankind and Earth’s ecosystems that supply humankind with all his lifelines for life itself, and wolves are the most valuable animal in America. We need commercials featuring the scientists that reintroduced wolves back to the Yellowstone ecosystems, and how wolves, alone, changed this ecosystem dramatically and for the greater good of every strand in the web of all life.
A century ago, Aldo Leopold, watched an ecosystem die in the absence of her wolves. Leopold grasped the science a century ago. It’s past time America’s brainwashed drones scienced up. We have science available today to help the drones step outta the dark ages.
I would drink gasoline before ingesting their Earth-killing beer, and if not for wolves, we would not have dogs to stay at our sides and sleep on our hearths. A dog is a duh, domesticated wolf and a wolf is a wild dog.
A century ago. “Perhaps this is the hidden meaning in the howl of the wolf. In wildness is the salvation of the Earth and the preservation of all life — long known among ecosystems, Earth and wolves — but seldom perceived by man.” My take on Leopold’s admonition.

Carly, They don’t care, the only thing that moves them is the bottom line $$$$$$. Bud will only listen if people stop buying their beer, then they’ll take notice.

Labrador retrievers are among the most popular breeds of dogs and according to a study in Northeastern University in Boston, dogs and puppies elicit more empathy than adult humans when it comes to cases of abuse. So this is one of those ads that isn’t really concerned what the product is or the message it conveys, but wants you to remember something about it and link it with the product at the end. The brain also remembers the first and last parts of a message more clearly than the middle. Using this formula, this stupid ad came about.
You get the people that will say it’s just an ad… but JAWS was just a movie too.

Yes I thought that instantly. They first failed to have a Christmas clydesdales commercial and I was looking forward to the superbowl since they always threaten to pull the clydesdales . Then I saw the wolf — and went OH NO! I haven’t been able to locate an official site — they all seem to be fan driven .

Closer to home—
D & N Siding from Corvallis (2 years ago) parked a company pick-up truck at night at the old IGA Parking Lot in Stevensville with a sign saying “Wild Animal Babies for Sale”. They had outside several pictures of wolf pups with a spotlight shining on the photos. I reported it to the Ravalli County Sheriff’s Department and to Montana FW &P.
They did call me back and told me that it was (technically) not illegal for D&N to park in the IGA Parking Lot. However, they were going to discuss the issue with D & N.
It makes me sick to think that someone would kill the Mother Wolf to sell her babies. Some people have no heart or soul!

SOME TIMES CALLING AUTHORITIES ON THE PUPS THAT WERE SOLD, MIGHT CREATE MORE BEING KILLED. THE IDEA IS SAVING THEM. NOT KILLING ANY OF THEM. EVEN THE MOMS. YOU CAN DOMESTICATE THEM. IM ACTUALLY THANK FULL THEIR TURNING AROUND SEEING THE VALUE OF THEM. I WOULDNT COMPLAIN. A LIVE WOLF IS BETTER THEN A DEAD ONE NO MATTER HOW THEY DO IT.AS LONG AS THEIR NOT KILLING ANY IN THE PROCESS.IF THEY DIDNT GET THE PUPS, THEY’D BE DEAD A LONG WITH THEIR MOTHER. BUT I DONT AGREE THE CHOICE IS TO KILL MOM. TRAP HER ALIVE, WITH OUT BEING HURT. AS FAR AS SARAH PALIN GOES.. PROVEN FACT THERES NO BRAINS IN HER BLOOD LINE!

Wolves are not domestic dogs, they have a completely different mental state. Dogs were bred to be more needy towards humans, even when they are adults they are basically pups by comparison. Wolves are naturally more intelligent and independant than domesticated canines, this can/will cause problems and almost certainly will lead to their deaths due to inadequate handling/homing/food/mental stimulation and thanks to good ol’ reliable human stupidity a rash of bad publicity.
This is a Catch 22 and these animals will probably die either way.

I always had a head count of 15 too 50 wolves for years. NEVER FOUND A PROBLEM WITH THEM. ITS NOT STUPIDITY WHEN YOU KNOW THEIR CHARACTORISTICS.THE MONSTER IS WITH MAN KIND. ESPEACILLY STATING THEY CAUSE PROBLEMS DOESNT HELP MATTERS. YES PEOPLE SHOULD BE GETTING THEM SAFE ANY WAY THAT THEY CAN. ONCE THEIR DEAD, THEIRS NO RETURNING THEM. IF HUNTERS KNEW THE VALUE OF THEM IN DOLLARS, I THINK THEY’D STOP BEING STUPID HUNTING THEM, AND SECRETLY SELLING THEM. NOW EVEN THOUGH YOU ALL THINK OF THIS AS BEING WRONG. I THINK OF IT AS BEING RIGHT… ‘THEY ARE ALIVE AND TAKEN CARE OF AND PROTECTED’.I LIVED WITH WOLVES ALL MY LIFE. A DOG WILL TURN ON YOU BEFORE A WOLF DOES. I HAD WILD WOLVES ALSO. THEY CAN BE DOMESTICATED IN TIME. YOU JUST NEED THE PATIENTS, UNDER STAND THEM, KNOW WHAT THEY EAT, THEIR DIETS, WHATS GOOD AND WHATS BAD FOR THEIR SYSTEMS, KNOW THEY ARE ‘NOT’ DOGS. WILL NOT BEHAVE LIKE ONE.I HAD ZERO PROBLEMS WITH ANY OF MY WOLVES. IT WAS DUMB ASS PEOPLE THAT CAUSED PROBLEMS, NOT THE WOLVES.

Personally john, I think much of the wolf hatred is a direct result of the wolf’s intelligence. The haters can’t tolerate the idea that there’s a wild animal that may be smarter than them, better hunters, better parents and totally free. They can’t stand that idea and MUST control the wolf. It’s a bizarre form of OCD. That’s my professional diagnosis for today (:
